Peterborough, ON - On September 29, 2018 the Peterborough Rowing Club and Trent University will play host to the annual Head of the Trent annual regatta held on the historic Trent Severn waterway. As the weekend gets set to begin, competitors will start to arrive from across Canada, the northern United States and around the world to take part in a 5 km race along the scenic Trent Canal and Otonabee River. This regatta is regarded as one of the premier events for fall rowing in the region and will feature over 2,000 athletes in over 400 boats. Head of the Trent is one of the largest single-day regattas in North America and coincides with Trent University's homecoming celebrations.
