STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING 

All varsity student-athletes have the privilege of using the Athletic Centre and its variety of training facilities and equipment. Safe, effective and consistent athletic training is integral to the success of all varsity sports programs. Strength and Conditioning Programs are developed by personal trainer Garth Myles for each team. This is funded by each athlete’s varsity participation fee which is automatically added to the student account. Team coaches are responsible for the communication and organization of team training programs.

There are a number of rules and regulations which are posted in the fitness centre which must be followed for your safety and the safety of other athletes. It is critical that all athletes report to their first practice session in excellent shape. As a result, we encourage year-round training and regular use of the Athletic Centre facilities.
