W Soccer Adds 4 Recruits for 17-18

Trent Women's Soccer is proud to announce the signing of four recruits.

The Trent Excalibur Women's Soccer team and newly named Head Coach Stu Robertson are very excited to get the ball rolling this Fall. Building on a strong young core that learned to play together in the always tough OUA East will have four new teammates to help build with. The four are Abbey Pantusa, Mackaylen Bickle, Tori Chia and Alexis Wilson.

The recruits all have experience playing at League 1 Ontario, the highest level for women in Ontario. Coach Robertson had this to say about the 2017 class, "we are excited to have such a great group of young ladies coming in and look forward to their immediate contributions on the pitch and in the classroom. On the players themselves he commented, "Abbey is a product of the North Mississauga SC, she is a player who has pace and likes to get forward. She will be an asset in the wide areas for us, and we are excited to have Abbey for the next 4 years . Mackaylen has played her whole career for the Darlington SC and captured the National title at U16. Mack is a keeper that has played in many high pressure situations and is a top level keeper, her presence will make our team better defensively. Tori is another Darlington product and is a creative central player who can win the ball back and get her teammates more touches. She is a League 1 All Star who has experience playing in big games. Lastly, Alexis is an Oshawa Turul/Whitby SC product whose work rate is second to none, she is another central ball winning player that will make our spine much stronger. Wilson, Bickle and Chia all play for League 1 Ontario team Darby FC and Pantusa has experience playing for League 1 franchise North Mississauga SC." The women open camp on August 15th at 10am.
